You may be wondering why I haven't posted anything for the past two months; not a single photo, HHT, or suggestion. You may also be thinking that I have given up on finding Halliday's Easter Egg because of this. Well, I can guarantee that I am never going to give up. I have poured my blood, sweat, and tears into this hunt, and nothing will stop me now.
Flying to all of these planets while searching for the Jade Key has reminded me of Star Wars. I actually have only seen the original trilogy eight times, which is far too little. Maybe I should spend a day watching them all; they could be the key to finding the Jade Key, after all.
I also want to use this post to tell you all my suggested viewing order for the Star Wars saga. If you are new to the series, start out with Episodes IV and V. They're exciting and a much better place to begin your journey as opposed to Episode I. Then, after Episode V, you should watch Episodes II and III. These films will introduce you to Anakin at the perfect moment: after he reveals that he's Luke's father in Episode V. Finally, after watching II-V, you can end your exploration into Star Wars with Episode VI. This final movie is a culmination of everything that worked well in the previous films. However, I do not suggest watching Episodes I, VII, VIII, or IX. They contributed absolutely nothing to the story. (And Episode I brought us the Devil in the form of Jar Jar Binks) Well, now I'm in the mood to have a Star Wars marathon. Goodbye, I wish you. Have I ever told you all that I love John Hughes? That man is an AMAZING director. The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Sixteen Candles have all become classics because of him. In fact, I'm such a huge fan of Hughes that I've actually separated his works into two sets: "The Dorky Boys Trilogy" and "The Dorky Girls Trilogy." I've recently been introduced to the film Ladyhawke. I have heard of it before, but not in a good way, so I had not watched it until recently. To be honest, I don't even believe Halliday has ever seen it. However, thanks to a good friend of mine, I got to experience this corny gem. Ladyhawke is a fantasy film that was released in 1985. The protagonist, a knight, Navarre, seeks revenge because the Bishop cast a spell that would turn Navarre into a man during the day and a wolf at night. It would also turn his love, Isabeau, into a hawk during the day and a woman at night. This means that neither of them can be together as humans. Therefore, they enlist the help of Philippe and Imperius to break the spell, which can only be done during a solar eclipse. It wasn't necessarily the greatest movie in the world, and the special effects were awful, but it definitely was enjoyable, and I'm glad my friend showed it to me.
Now that a ton of people have gotten the Copper Key and unlocked the First Gate, I think I can freely discuss the riddle for the Jade Key. I won't repeat it since just about everyone knows it at this point, but I do think "the dwelling long neglected" could be the Maitland's house from Beetlejuice. Blowing the whistle could be symbolic of calling the freaky ghoul himself. To get the Jade Key, we may need to find the house and beat Beetlejuice at something. But what? Karaoke? Street Fighters? Maybe a scaring competition? Whatever it is, it'll be tough.
I can't believe it! The Sixers actually put a FORCEFIELD around the Tomb of Horrors?! GAH! At least the gunter clans are attacking them. Hopefully they can break through.
Oh yeah, if you haven't heard, the Copper Key is on Ludus, in the forest, and inside a recreation of the Tomb of Horrors. Just look for the GIANT FORCEFIELD that IOI contructed. Ugh...I really don't have anything to lose by posting this; IOI made it obvious that the key was there, so all of the media stations are posting about it. I don't even know how they found out! I didn't think Parzival would tell anyone, but who knows... This past week has been crazy. This blog has achieved more views in the past ten days than it had in its entire lifespan, so I would really like to thank all of my readers. Thank-you! I would also like to thank the select few that made AMAZING fan art of me. Here's a gallery showcasing some of my favorites: Okay, okay, I get it. I see that there's currently 6 billion people reading this blog right now. You all probably want answers as to why I'm on the scoreboard, how I found the Copper Key, and where the First Gate is. Well, I have one word for you all: Not. Happening. Wait, that's two words...
Okay, my last HHT may have been proven wrong, (shout-out to C00L_D00D_96 for scouring Jacksonville for three days straight) but maybe we've been going in the wrong direction with the riddle. The riddle is a poem called a limerick. That means it has an AABBA rhyme scheme. Well, from 1972-1983, there was a pop band called ABBA, which just so happened to have an album in the vault shown in Anorak's Almanac. Coincidence? I think not!
